My dose and timeYour pharmacist or doctor fills this in.
Taking it right
- One pill, once a day, same time each day.
- Always with food. A real meal, not a snack.
- It is my complete treatment. No other HIV pills with it.
If I miss a dose
- Well before the next dose: take it now, with food.
- Next dose soon: skip it, take the next on schedule.
- Never two at once.
Tell the pharmacist everything
- Every medicine, pill, vitamin, and supplement.
- Genvoya interacts with many drugs.
- Ask before buying anything over the counter.
Call the doctor if
- Muscle pain or weakness.
- Less urine, or swelling in my legs.
- New low mood, yellow skin or eyes.
Emergency. Go to the ER
- Severe rash, blistering or peeling skin.
- Fast breathing, severe weakness, cold hands and feet.
- Severe vomiting with upper right belly pain.
Good to remember
- Never stop on my own. Plan any change with my doctor.
- Cost help exists. Call Fairview before skipping a dose.
