Switching from a chain pharmacy?

Get a $10 OTC credit on your first transfer.

We know switching feels like work. So we'll thank you for the trouble. Every first time transfer from CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Rite Aid, Sam's, or any chain comes with a $10 credit toward anything in our shop. Pain relievers, allergy medication, vitamins, a kit. Your choice.

Credit applied automatically at first pickup or first online order. One per household.

How It Works

Three steps. We do all three. You don't have to call anyone.

01

We call your old pharmacy.

You give us your name, date of birth, current pharmacy, and the medication. We make the call. You don't have to explain anything to anyone.

02

We verify your insurance.

We pull your prior insurance information directly from the chain or run your member ID through our network database. Coverage continues without a gap.

03

We fill same day.

Most generic medications fill same day. Brand names typically within 1 business day. We text you the moment it's ready. Free Hattiesburg delivery.

“The single biggest reason people stay at a chain pharmacy they're unhappy with is the assumption that switching is hard. It isn't. You give us four pieces of information and we handle every phone call. Most patients are filled the same day.”

Switching From a Specific Chain?

We have a page for that.

Each chain has its own quirks. We have a dedicated walkthrough for the three largest, with answers to the questions specific to that chain's transfer process.

The Full Picture

How prescription transfers actually work.

Here is the full process before you fill out the form. If you already know what you need, the hero button above jumps you straight to the form.

How to transfer your prescription to Fairview Pharmacy. Most non-controlled prescriptions can be transferred quickly. What you need: prescription number, full name, date of birth, address, current pharmacy information, and insurance card if available. Four steps: call Fairview at 601-544-4871, have your information ready, share insurance if available, and we handle the rest. We contact your other pharmacy, obtain the prescription information, process the transfer, fill your medication, and call you when ready.

Common Questions

What people ask before they switch.

Will I lose my refills if I transfer?

No. When we transfer your prescription, your refill history, refill dates, and remaining authorizations come with it. You do not lose continuity of coverage.

What if my prescription is a controlled substance?

Controlled substances follow stricter transfer rules under DEA regulations. Schedule II medications (oxycodone, Adderall, certain pain medications) require a brand new prescription from your prescriber rather than a pharmacy to pharmacy transfer. We can call your prescriber on your behalf to coordinate. Schedule III, IV, and V controlled substances can be transferred under specific conditions and we handle that for you.

Does my doctor need to do anything?

Usually no. We coordinate the transfer directly with the pharmacy that currently has your prescription. We only contact your prescriber if a new prescription is needed (controlled substances, expired authorizations) or if there is a clinical question about your therapy.

How long does the transfer take?

Most generic medications: same day fill. Brand name medications: typically within 1 business day, depending on stock. Controlled substances: 1 to 3 business days due to DEA regulations. We text you the moment it is ready.

Can I transfer multiple prescriptions at once?

Yes. Tell us every medication you currently take, even if you only need one filled right now. We will transfer your entire profile so future refills are simple. This is how we set up medication synchronization where every refill comes due on the same day each month.

Will my old pharmacy hassle me about transferring?

By federal law, the pharmacy you transfer FROM is required to cooperate with the transfer. They cannot block it. Some chains are slower than others, which is why we make the call rather than ask you to. If you have already prepaid for medications or have a refill queued, we will help you sort that out.

Spend 60 seconds now. Save hours every month.

Tell us your name, date of birth, current pharmacy, and the medication. We do the rest.
