How it works
- One injection, once every 3 months.
- Given by my care team, not at home.
- Same medicine as the monthly version, longer lasting.
If I miss an appointment
- Call my clinic right away.
- A long gap may mean restarting the monthly version first.
- Do not assume I can just get the next 3 month shot.
Tell every provider
- I get Invega Trinza injections.
- Check new medicines and supplements with the pharmacist.
- Go easy on alcohol, it adds to drowsiness.
Call the doctor if
- Very thirsty, urinating a lot, very hungry.
- Dizzy or faint when I stand up.
- New movements I cannot control.
Emergency. Go to the ER
- High fever, stiff muscles, sweating, and confusion.
- Fast or irregular heartbeat, or fainting.
- Fever with sore throat and mouth sores.
Good to remember
- Only 4 injections a year, so each one matters.
- Cost help exists. Call Fairview before missing a dose.
