When do I use it?
- The usual labeled schedule is one drop in the affected eye or eyes once daily in the evening. Use your prescribed directions; extra doses can reduce its effect.
Does my bottle need refrigeration?
- Check the exact product. Xalatan is refrigerated before opening and may then be kept at up to 77°F for six weeks. Other latanoprost products have different instructions.
What if I miss a dose?
- Skip it and use the next dose at your usual time. Do not add extra drops to catch up.
How do I use the drops safely?
- Wash your hands and avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye or other surfaces. Separate other eye drops by at least five minutes. With Xalatan, remove contact lenses first and wait at least 15 minutes before replacing them. Have the pharmacy show you the technique. Xalatan labeling
Why should I keep the carton?
- It identifies the formulation and storage rules. Xelpros emulsion has different storage instructions from Xalatan. Iyuzeh comes in single-dose containers: discard an opened container after use, even if drops remain; unused containers have a separate limit after the pouch opens. What changes should I report?
- Eye irritation can occur. Contact your eye clinician for eye injury, infection, new vision changes or persistent inflammation. Iris darkening can be permanent; eyelashes may change. Keep pressure checks even when your eyes feel normal. Xalatan labeling
