Taking it right
- One pill, once a day, same time each day.
- Swallow it whole. Never cut, crush, or chew it.
- With or without food.
If I miss a dose
- Same day: take it when I remember.
- Almost time for the next one: skip it.
- Never two at once.
Keep an eye on
- My blood pressure. This medicine can raise it a little.
- A fast or pounding heartbeat.
- Trouble emptying my bladder fully.
Good to know
- It can take about 8 weeks to see the full benefit.
- Tell the pharmacist every medicine I take.
- Heart and blood pressure medicines need a check.
Emergency. Go to the ER
- Swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat.
- Trouble breathing.
- Cannot urinate at all, bladder full and painful.
