Using it right
- One drop in each affected eye, twice a day.
- About 12 hours apart.
- Never touch the tip to my eye or any surface.
The multi-dose bottle
- Shake it. Turn it upside down several times before every dose.
- New bottle: prime it, 2 drops onto a tissue first.
If I miss a dose
- Use it as soon as I remember.
- Next dose almost due: skip it.
- Never extra drops to catch up.
Good to know
- It works over 3 to 6 months. Slow is normal.
- Contacts out first, back in after 15 minutes.
- Artificial tears okay, 15 minutes apart.
Call the eye doctor if
- Strong or worsening eye pain.
- A real change in my vision.
- Increasing redness or discharge.
Emergency. Go to the ER
- Swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- hives, or trouble breathing.
