My dose and timeYour pharmacist or doctor fills this in.
Taking it right
- One pill, once a day, same time each day.
- With or without food.
- It is my complete treatment. No other HIV pills with it.
If I miss a dose
- Take it as soon as I remember.
- Next dose almost due: skip it, take the next on schedule.
- Never two at once.
My warning card
- I carry my abacavir warning card always.
- It tells any doctor I take abacavir.
Allergic reaction. Stop and get care
- Two or more together, often in the first 6 weeks:
- fever, rash, nausea or vomiting, very tired and achy,
- trouble breathing. Stop Triumeq. Never take it again.
Call the doctor if
- New low mood or anxiety.
- Yellow skin or eyes, dark urine.
- Lasting stomach pain.
Good to remember
- Never stop on my own. Plan any change with my doctor.
- Cost help exists. Call Fairview before skipping a dose.
