Taking it right
- One capsule, once a day, same time each day.
- With or without food.
- It works gradually. Give it the weeks my doctor asks for.
If I miss a dose
- Same day: take it when I remember.
- Almost time for the next one: skip it.
- Never two at once.
Tell the pharmacist
- Every new medicine and supplement.
- No St. John's Wort.
- Go easy on alcohol, it adds to drowsiness.
Call the doctor if
- Restlessness or movement changes, even weeks later.
- New movements I cannot control.
- Signs of higher blood sugar, or weight gain.
Emergency
- High fever, stiff muscles, sweating, and confusion.
- Thoughts of harming myself: call or text 988.
Good to remember
- Slow to work is normal, not failure.
- Cost help exists. Call Fairview before skipping a dose.
