My dose this week, and my next step-up dateYour pharmacist or doctor fills this in.
Taking it right
- Helps control focal seizures. Once a day, with or without food.
- My dose goes up slowly over about 10 weeks.
- Never speed it up. Take exactly the dose for the week I am on.
If I miss a dose
- Take it the same day if I remember.
- Almost time for the next one: skip it.
- Never two in one day. Missed several: call my prescriber.
Watch for DRESS. Go to the ER
- Rash, fever, swollen glands, facial swelling.
- More than one together: emergency, do not wait.
Call the doctor if
- Any new rash, even mild.
- Yellow skin or eyes, dark urine, ongoing nausea.
- New or worsening mood changes.
Staying safe
- Never stop Xcopri suddenly. My doctor lowers it slowly.
- No alcohol. Do not drive until I know how it affects me.
- It makes hormonal birth control weaker: use a barrier method too.
Good to remember
- Crisis support any time: call or text 988.
- Cost help exists. Call Fairview before skipping a dose.
