Fairview Pharmacy
Fairview Men's Health

ED medications, filled by your pharmacist. For about a third of what online services charge.

Hims charges $170 a month for sildenafil. Fairview charges $59. Same medication. Same FDA approved generic. The difference is that Hims bundles a telehealth visit into the price, and you do not need that if you already have a prescription. We are your local pharmacy. We fill prescriptions from any licensed prescriber. We review against your full medication list (the safety check online services cannot offer). We ship discreetly within Mississippi or you pick up.

HIPAA protected like every prescription · Pharmacist interaction review included · Discreet packaging · Mississippi residents

See your doctor first.

ED is often a symptom, not a standalone problem. It can be an early warning sign of cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes, low testosterone, or medication side effects, sometimes presenting 2 to 5 years before a cardiac event. The right answer might not be a prescription at all. We will fill your prescription at fair pricing when you have one, but we want you evaluated by a physician first. That is the clinically responsible path and it is the path we recommend every patient take.

Transparent Pricing

What you actually pay. Side by side with the market.

All prices are cash prices for Mississippi residents. ED medications are rarely covered by insurance, so cash pricing is the standard model. Validate against your wholesaler costs and adjust as needed.

The safety advantage online services cannot offer.

ED medications interact dangerously with nitrates (nitroglycerin, isosorbide) and alpha blockers (tamsulosin/Flomax, doxazosin, terazosin). Both medication classes are common in men in the typical ED demographic. The interaction can cause dangerously low blood pressure.

Your Fairview pharmacist sees your full medication profile. An online pharmacy filling in isolation does not. That review is included in every fill, at no extra charge. It is the reason filling locally is medically safer than ordering online, especially for men managing other chronic conditions.

Hard contraindication: Do not combine ED medications with any nitrate medication. If you take nitroglycerin or other nitrates, even occasionally for chest pain, tell your pharmacist before any fill.

HIPAA, every prescription.

Every prescription at Fairview, for any condition, is protected by HIPAA. Federal law, not pharmacy policy. Your ED prescription is handled identically to your blood pressure medication. Filling locally does not compromise your privacy. What it adds is a pharmacist who sees your complete medication profile.

Packaging is discreet. Outer label shows Fairview Pharmacy as sender (required for legal pharmacy shipping). Nothing on the outside identifies the medication. The bottle inside has your name and the generic medication name per FDA labeling rules.

How It Works

Three steps. Done in under a week.

01

See your doctor first

Before filling an ED medication, see a physician. ED is often an early signal of cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled hypertension, or diabetes, sometimes presenting 2 to 5 years before a cardiac event. The right answer might be addressing an underlying condition, not adding a medication. Your primary care doctor can evaluate you in 20 minutes.

02

Send us your prescription (e-prescribe is best)

Have your prescriber e-prescribe directly to Fairview (NCPDP 2515104). This is the fastest, most secure path and is strongly recommended if you live outside the immediate Hattiesburg area. You can also upload a photo of the paper prescription or have your prescriber fax or call it in, but a photo upload does not replace the original. You still need to bring the hard copy when you pick up in store.

03

Pick up same day or we ship discreetly

Pick up in store same day (bring the hard copy of your prescription if you uploaded a photo earlier), or we ship to any Mississippi address in unmarked packaging. Your pharmacist reviews the prescription against your full medication list (this is what online services structurally cannot do). Counseling is included.

“ED is one of the most common conditions men ask me about, and it is also one of the most overcharged for. The online services built their business model on the embarrassment factor. Once you understand that filling locally is just as private and the pharmacist review is a real clinical advantage, the math is obvious. See your doctor first. Get a real evaluation. Then bring me the prescription and I will take care of you at a fair price.”

Send Your Prescription

Have a valid prescription? Let's fill it.

Valid prescription from any Mississippi-licensed prescriber. We do not prescribe. If you need a prescriber, choose "I need a referral" below and we will share a list of Mississippi-licensed telehealth options.

Fill your ED prescription at Fairview

Real pharmacist, real medication review, transparent pricing. Mississippi residents with a valid prescription from any licensed prescriber. We do not prescribe; we dispense and review for safety.

Typical response: Within 1 business day

We can only ship to Mississippi addresses for this program.

Photo of the paper prescription, or a PDF of an e-prescription printout. NOTE: photo upload begins processing but does NOT replace the original prescription. If you plan to pick up in store, you must still bring the hard copy at pickup. If you live too far to drop by, ask your prescriber to e-prescribe directly to Fairview Pharmacy (NCPDP 2515104) instead. E-prescribing is the cleanest path for distant patients.

Quick safety screening

These questions matter because ED medications interact dangerously with certain other medications. Your pharmacist will review with you before dispensing. Be honest; this protects you.

Combining nitrates with ED medications can cause dangerously low blood pressure. This is a hard contraindication.

Your information is kept private and secure, used only to serve your pharmacy needs. It goes directly to Fairview Pharmacy and is never shared.

Common Questions

Men's health questions, answered plainly.

Why see my doctor first instead of using a telehealth service?

ED is frequently an early warning sign for cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes, low testosterone, depression, or medication side effects. The same symptom can have very different underlying causes. A telehealth service that prescribes from a 5 minute questionnaire is treating the symptom in isolation; your doctor can evaluate the cause. In many cases, addressing the underlying issue resolves the ED entirely without a long term medication.

Is filling locally less private than ordering online?

No. Every prescription at every pharmacy in the United States is protected by HIPAA, which is federal law, not pharmacy policy. Your ED prescription is handled with exactly the same privacy protections as your blood pressure medication. Filling locally does not compromise your privacy; it was always protected. What filling locally adds is a pharmacist who can see your full medication list and screen for interactions, which online services structurally cannot do.

Why are your prices so much lower than Hims and Ro?

Hims, Ro, and similar services bundle a telehealth prescriber consult into the price of the medication. If you already have a prescription from your own doctor, you're paying the telehealth markup for nothing. We are a pharmacy, not a telehealth service. We fill prescriptions from any licensed prescriber and pass the medication cost through with a fair pharmacy margin. That's the price difference.

What if I don't currently have a prescriber?

We can refer you to Mississippi-licensed telehealth providers who do quick ED consultations. The consult fee is usually $30 to $75 and the prescription comes to us. The total cost (consult plus medication) is still typically lower than ordering from Hims, and you get a real pharmacist on the medication review side. We don't take a commission from the telehealth referral; we just help you find a compliant prescriber.

Why does pharmacist interaction review matter for ED medications?

ED medications interact dangerously with two specific medication classes: nitrates (used for chest pain and heart disease, including nitroglycerin) and alpha blockers (commonly prescribed for blood pressure and enlarged prostate, like tamsulosin/Flomax, doxazosin, terazosin). Both are common in men in the typical ED demographic. The combination can cause dangerously low blood pressure. A pharmacist with access to your full medication list catches this. An online service filling in isolation cannot. This review happens at no extra charge for every Fairview prescription.

If I uploaded a photo of my prescription, do I still need the hard copy?

Yes, if you plan to pick up in store. The photo upload helps us begin processing and verifying your prescription faster, but the original paper prescription is still required at pickup. Bring it with you. If you live too far to drop by in person, the cleanest path is to have your prescriber e-prescribe directly to Fairview (NCPDP 2515104) instead of you uploading a photo. E-prescribing satisfies all verification requirements without needing a paper copy.

What if I live far from Hattiesburg?

For patients outside the immediate Pine Belt area, e-prescribing direct to Fairview is the strongly preferred path. Ask your prescriber to send the prescription electronically to NCPDP 2515104. Once received, we fill and ship to your Mississippi address (unmarked packaging). No need to drive in for the original paper prescription. Photo uploads work for patients who plan to pick up in person, but for distant patients, e-prescribe is cleaner, faster, and avoids the trip.

Can you ship to states other than Mississippi?

Currently, no. Fairview is a Mississippi-licensed pharmacy and the ED program is for Mississippi residents only. Patients outside Mississippi should find a local independent pharmacy with similar pricing transparency.

Is the packaging discreet?

Yes. Outer packaging shows Fairview Pharmacy as the sender (which is unavoidable for legal pharmacy shipping). Nothing on the outside of the package identifies the medication. The medication itself is in standard pharmacy packaging inside. The label on the bottle has your name and the medication name (federal labeling requirement).

What about generic vs brand name?

Generic sildenafil, tadalafil, and vardenafil are FDA-approved bioequivalents of Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra respectively. The active ingredient and clinical effect are identical. The price difference is substantial; the medical difference is none. We carry generics by default. If your prescription specifies brand name (rare for this category), we can fill brand at a higher cost or coordinate with your prescriber on switching to generic.
