How to use

The protocol.

  • 1 tablet (500mg) daily, any time of day
  • Water soluble. Can be taken with or without food.
  • Daily consistency matters more than timing or dose
  • Pair with vitamin D3 and zinc for complete immune support
  • During illness, some patients increase to 2 tablets daily (1000mg). Higher doses risk GI distress.
Safety

Safe for. Use with caution.

Safe for

  • Adults across all ages
  • Daily long term use without dependence
  • Pregnancy
  • Patients on most prescription medications

Use with caution

The real story behind this product

What chain pharmacies never explain.

Vitamin C is one of the most studied vitamins in human biology. Humans (along with primates and guinea pigs) cannot synthesize vitamin C internally. We must consume it daily. White blood cells use vitamin C in concentrations 50 to 100 times higher than the rest of the body, which is why deficiency impairs immune function quickly.

Beyond immune support, vitamin C is essential for collagen synthesis. Without sufficient C, the body cannot make functional collagen, the primary structural protein in skin, blood vessels, tendons, and bones. This is why severe vitamin C deficiency (scurvy) caused such dramatic symptoms in historical accounts (loose teeth, bleeding gums, slow wound healing).

The common misconception about vitamin C is that more is better. Vitamin C is water soluble. Once blood levels are saturated (typically at 200 to 400mg daily intake), additional intake is excreted in urine. Megadoses of 2000mg or more often cause diarrhea and offer minimal additional benefit beyond ensuring saturation.

500mg daily is well above the threshold needed for saturation in most adults, providing ongoing immune and antioxidant support without GI distress.

Dr. Mike's clinical commentary
Vitamin C is the antioxidant white blood cells run on. The biology is clear and well understood. What patients often get wrong is that megadosing offers diminishing returns. 500mg daily ensures saturation in most adults, supports immune function and collagen synthesis, and doesn't cause the GI distress higher doses can cause. Daily consistency is what matters, not heroic single doses.

Frequently Asked

Questions, answered.

Is this product third party tested?

Yes. Every product in the Fairview Wellness Essentials line meets at least one of these independent standards: USP Verified, NSF Certified, or ConsumerLab Tested. These organizations test for purity (no heavy metals or contaminants), potency (label dose matches contents), and dissolution (the tablet actually breaks down and absorbs). Third party verification is one of the three required tests every Wellness Essentials product must pass.

Will this interact with my prescription medications?

Many supplements interact with common prescriptions. Fish oil with warfarin can elevate bleeding risk. Vitamin K with warfarin destabilizes INR. Calcium with levothyroxine reduces thyroid absorption. Magnesium with bisphosphonates affects bone medication absorption. Before ordering, call the pharmacy for a free medication interaction review. Takes 10 minutes. Included with every order.

How soon will my order ship?

Orders ship within 1 to 2 business days from our pharmacy in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. You'll receive tracking once your package leaves the pharmacy. Free shipping on orders over $50. Kit purchases skip the $50 minimum and qualify for free shipping automatically.

What is your return policy?

30 day money back guarantee on unopened or opened products. If a supplement isn't working for you, return it for a full refund. If something arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days and we'll make it right.

Can I use my FSA or HSA card?

Yes. Fairview Pharmacy accepts FSA and HSA cards for eligible products. Many vitamins and supplements qualify with a Letter of Medical Necessity from your physician. Contact us if you have questions about specific product eligibility.

One product is good. The kit is the protocol.

Dr. Mike doesn't hand patients single products. He hands them protocols. The Complete Immune Support Kit is the full version of what most people need. And it skips the $50 minimum.
