Taking it right
- One pill, once a day, same time each day.
- With or without food.
- It is my complete treatment. No other HIV pills with it.
If I miss a dose
- Same day: take it when I remember.
- Next day already: skip it, take my normal dose.
- Never two in one day.
Timing with antacids
- Antacids with aluminum or magnesium block it.
- Take my pill 2 hours before or 6 hours after them.
- Calcium or iron: fine if taken with food.
Tell the pharmacist
- Every new medicine, pill, or supplement.
- Some medicines must never be combined with it.
- No St. John's Wort.
Call the doctor if
- Yellow skin or eyes, dark urine.
- Muscle pain or weakness, lasting stomach pain.
- New low mood or anxiety.

- Never stop on my own. Plan any change with my doctor.
- Cost help exists. Call Fairview before skipping a dose.
