What is tamsulosin for?
It helps urine flow by relaxing muscles around the prostate and bladder. Its labeled use is urinary symptoms from an enlarged prostate; it is not a prostate-cancer treatment.
When should I take it?
Take your prescribed capsule about 30 minutes after the same meal each day. Swallow it whole; do not open, crush or chew it.
Can it make me dizzy?
Yes, especially when standing up, starting treatment or increasing a dose. Rise slowly and avoid driving until you know its effects.

What if I miss a dose?

Why does my eye surgeon need to know?

What should my pharmacist check?
