Why this still exists at Fairview.
Before Vitamin D deficiency was a recognized epidemic. Before omega 3 capsules had a marketing budget. Before fish oil existed in gel form, grandmothers were lining their children up every winter for a spoonful of cod liver oil. And they were right.
Cod liver oil provides naturally occurring Vitamins A and D in their most bioavailable form, absorbed more efficiently than synthetic versions. Plus EPA and DHA omega 3 fatty acids for joint health, brain function, and cardiovascular wellness. Does it taste bad? Yes. That has not changed. That is also why it works. You know it is real.

Vitamin D deficiency is incredibly common, even in Mississippi. Most people are not spending enough time outdoors in direct sun. Cod liver oil provides Vitamin D in its most bioavailable natural form, along with Vitamins A and omega 3s that synthetic supplements separate out. Mix it with orange juice if the taste bothers you. One teaspoon daily is exactly right.

Is this safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Heritage remedies vary in pregnancy safety. Topical products like Bag Balm and Bactine are generally considered safe. Iron tonics and any product containing alcohol require physician guidance during pregnancy. Before ordering during pregnancy or breastfeeding, please request a free pharmacist consultation so we can review your specific product.
Build the medicine cabinet your family deserves.
Heritage remedies were never meant to stand alone. Most families build out their medicine cabinet across the four sub categories: cough and chest, pain and muscle, tonics, and skin and wound. Combine 3 to 4 products to clear the $50 free shipping threshold.
