Why can't I find these products at CVS or Walgreens anymore?
Chain pharmacies make inventory decisions based on national turn rates. If a product does not sell fast enough across thousands of stores, it gets discontinued, regardless of whether it works and regardless of community demand. Fairview's inventory is managed by a pharmacist who knows his customers. We keep what you ask for.
Are these old formulas actually safe?
A familiar brand name does not guarantee that a product is right for you. Formulas can change over time. Read the current package directions and ask a pharmacist about your medicines and health conditions before use.
I've been using this product for 30 years. Do I need pharmacist guidance?
If you have been using a product safely for decades, you likely know it well. That said, if your prescription medications have changed, a 5 minute check in with Dr. Mike is worth it, particularly for iron containing tonics and any alcohol based products. It is free and quick.
Do these products interact with my prescription medications?
Interactions depend on the ingredients and your medicines. Ask a pharmacist to review the current labels, including supplements and topical products, before combining treatments.
Do I have to spend $50 to order?
No. Orders under $50 have a $7.95 shipping charge. Orders of $50 or more ship free, and all kits ship free.
Can I use FSA or HSA for these products?
Eligibility depends on the item and your plan. Household solvents and fragrance oils are not being offered as medicines. Ask your plan administrator about the specific product before using FSA or HSA funds.
Do you ship the full collection nationwide?
Eligible products can be ordered online for U.S. delivery. Check the individual listing for availability.
What if you don't carry a heritage product I'm looking for?
Call or chat with us. Fairview helps customers locate hard to find heritage products every day. If a product can still be sourced from a licensed wholesaler, we can usually get it. If a product has been discontinued by its manufacturer entirely, we will tell you that honestly and recommend the closest available alternative.
