Is it the same as amoxicillin?
No. It also contains clavulanate, which helps protect amoxicillin from certain bacterial defenses. The products are not interchangeable.
When should I take it with food?
Take it at the start of a meal to improve tolerance and clavulanate absorption.
Does the liquid go in the refrigerator?
Yes. Refrigerate mixed suspension and discard it after 10 days. Follow the pharmacy's discard date.

Can I switch strengths or use leftover medicine?
No. Products can contain different proportions of the two ingredients. A different tablet count or liquid concentration may not provide the same treatment. Have the pharmacist check any replacement. How do I measure liquid, and what if I miss a dose?

What side effects need help?
