Does it need food?
Capsules and liquid can be taken with or without food. Extended-release tablets are taken after the evening meal and swallowed whole.
Can I drive after taking it?
Wait until you know its effects. Dizziness and sleepiness can impair driving; avoid alcohol and discuss other sedating medicines.
Can I stop once I feel better?
Do not stop suddenly. The prescriber should arrange a gradual reduction, generally over at least a week, because withdrawal and seizures can occur.

What if I miss a dose?
For capsules or liquid, take the dose when remembered unless the next is nearly due; then skip it. For extended-release tablets, a missed evening dose can be taken at bedtime after a snack. What should the pharmacist check?
