How are these kits different from Amazon bundles?
Amazon health bundles are assembled by algorithms and fulfilled by warehouses. No pharmacist reviewed them. No medication interaction check was performed. No clinical rationale explains the product combinations. Fairview Wellness Kits were built by Dr. Mike Acheampong, PharmD, MPH, with 47 years of patient care experience. Are generic medications really as good as brand name?
The FDA requires generics to contain identical active ingredient at identical dose with identical bioavailability, manufactured to identical purity standards. In most oral medications (antihistamines, pain relievers, antacids, digestive aids) there is no clinically meaningful difference. The only difference is price. Fairview uses generics where the evidence supports it and brands where formulation complexity, parental trust, or category leadership matter. Every choice in every kit was deliberate.
Can I buy single products instead of the full kit?
Yes. Eligible OTC products can be purchased as one-time online orders. Orders under $50 have a $7.95 shipping charge; orders of $50 or more ship free. Kits always ship free.
What if I'm on prescription medications? Are these kits safe?
Contact Fairview before ordering if you have medication interaction concerns. Dr. Mike reviews your complete medication list at no charge. This is the difference between a pharmacist run operation and an Amazon warehouse. The most common dangerous combinations (NSAIDs with blood thinners, decongestants with blood pressure medications, antihistamines with sedatives) are exactly what an independent pharmacist screens for.
How does the subscription work?
Automatic OTC subscriptions are not available yet. Eligible kits can be purchased as one-time online orders through secure checkout.
What is the refund policy exactly?
Refunds are available within 30 days of delivery or pickup for unopened, nonprescription products with proof of purchase. Opened medications and supplements are individually reviewed by a pharmacist. Damaged, defective, or incorrect orders qualify for a refund or replacement.
Why 90 days instead of 30?
Some kits (Sleep, Quit Smoking, Allergy) take time to show results. 30 days isn't fair to either the product or the patient. 90 days gives you enough time to give it a real trial and know with confidence whether it's working.
